A common question coming up today, is who is in the College World Series? There are eight teams left out of the original 64 in the NCAA Men’s baseball tournament who have earned a spot to play for the national title in Omaha, Nebraska. Each of the eight teams won their respective Super Regional. Five of the eight entered the tournament as national seeds, and three were unseeded.
When Does the College World Series Take Place?
The first games in the 2025 College World Series take place on Friday, June 13th. That’s right, Friday the 13th for those who are superstitious. The tournament runs through either June 22nd or 23rd (finals are a best-of-three series). The CWS always finishes up before the MLB All-Star Game and the MLB Draft.
