2025 NBA Summer League Schedule; Will Cooper Flagg play?

The 2025 NBA Summer League is scheduled to take place from July 5th through July 20th this year. Technically the NBA 2K26 is the official Summer League playing all games in Las Vegas, Nevada. Just like last summer, we’ll also get to see teams in action in the California Classic and the Salt Lake City Summer League. Of course, the big question for Mavs and other NBA fans is will Cooper Flagg play? We’ll have to wait and see. 

2025 NBA Summer League Schedule

Here’s the high-level 2025 NBA Summer League schedule for you. As you can see, there are three leagues before players get a break prior to training camp and the 2025-26 NBA Preseason schedule kicking off. 

• California Classic: July 5, 6 & 8
• Salt Lake City Summer League: July 5, 7 & 8
• NBA 2K26 Summer League (Las Vegas): July 10-20

What Teams Play in the 2025 NBA Summer League? 

Since 2018, the NBA 2K26 Summer League has all NBA teams participating in it. We also get two smaller opportunities to watch new prospects and other players getting work in (whether G League, or just former rookies going on year 2 or 3). Sometimes, we’ll see players participate in a just a few of the games depending on injuries, etc. Either way, it’s a nice break for everyone while we’re in the sports doldrums with only MLB ongoing until it’s time for the college and NFL football season. 

2025 California Classic Summer League Schedule

Golden State is hosting the 7th annual California Classic Summer League. Games are set to be played at the Chase Center between the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, LA Lakers, and Warriors. These games will include all of the rookies picked by the teams in the 2025 NBA Draft as well as players competing for NBA and G League roster spots. The games on July 5th and 6th are open to the public. The games on 8th are being broadcast only. We also will see 10 minute quarters in these games. 

2025 Salt Lake City Summer League Schedule

The Salt Lake City Summer League schedule takes place July 5th through 8th, 2025. It is held at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City. The teams playing in Salt Lake this season include: the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Philadelphia 76ers. 

NBA2K26 Schedule

The NBA2K25 Summer League schedule takes place from July 10th through 20th, 2025. There will be a total of 76 games played this year. All of the NBA teams are playing in the 19th iteration of the event. Each team plays at least five games. The first four are between July 10-8th. After this, the top four teams move to a semifinal game on July 19th and a championship game on the 20th. The teams who don’t make the tournament play a fifth, consolation game on July 19th or 20st. Once we have matchup details and game times, we’ll let you know. If we see Cooper Flagg play this summer, it will be during NBA 2K26. 

2025-26 NBA Regular and Postseason Schedules

So, once the Summer League is over, we’ll all be waiting for the final release of the regular season schedule. Next up though , will be the 2025-26 NBA preseason schedule, and of course the 2026 NBA Playoffs. The NBA normally releases the full schedule in August, but we’ll keep you posted as we get information from the NBA or individual teams that you can use.
